This amazing couple was out with us for an Aurora photography workshop tour and the the night started off with brilliant displays of Northern Lights early. Things just got better and the chemistry between these two was very apparent. They photographed together and were having a lot of fun creating images together. We could tell from just a short time with them that they were meant for each other.
We take Aurora Portraits of our guests throughout the night and were in the middle of a photo when Tony said he'd like to try out a pose and then surprised us all when he dropped to one knee! The Aurora swirled magically overhead just briefly as if giving its blessing and we grabbed this shot! What a night! She did say yes by the way!
This is the birch tree visible in the yard at Sirius Sled Dogs in the Alaska Aurora Cam. It's named Clyde's tree after Clyde. Clyde is a beautiful dark male at SSD. His Dog yard used to encompass what is now the cabin yard and rather than sleep in a dog house, Clyde preferred to lay beneath this beautiful Birch Tree. We love this tree just as much as Clyde.
